About the Event
Our October hike will be to Santa Catalina Island. We will travel on Friday aftertnoon aboard the Catalina Express from San Pedro to Two Harbors. After disembarking the boat, we will camp in Two Harbors.
Sat AM we will hike to Little Harbor and overnight.
Sun AM we will hike back to Two Harbors and board the Catalina Express back to the mainland.
Equipment: Standard backpacking equipment for 2-day hike plus swimming gear.
Food: Friday and Saturday lunch is the responsibility of each individual. Patrols should plan meals for Saturday and Sunday breakfasts and Friday and Saturday dinners. Due to a new camping location this year, no individual coolers or equipment you can’t backpack with is allowed. Scout and Old Goat patrols will coordinate the storage of food in common coolers which will be transported to camp.

Cost: $150.00 per person. This includes a non-refundable boat ticket and camping fee.
